Mesothelioma Diagnosis

IN SHORT
No single test can sufficiently establish the diagnosis. A combination of imaging, tissue studies are employed to reach the diagnosis. In general the bigger the tissue sample the higher the diagnostic yield.

Although malignant mesothelioma is misdiagnosed initially, diagnosis must be reached appropriately as the likelihood of subsequent litigation is high. This is why a set of diagnostic applications are involved.
